Mission
This chapter of Phi Delta Theta was refounded with the vision that we would exemplify the principals of scholarship friendship and integrity. We strive to cultivate leadership and service while maintaining a healthy social calendar and a respectable athletic presence in intramural sports. If you have questions or you'd like to contribute historical information about Phi Delta Theta NYA, please don't hesitate to contact our Historian, Mark Malin.
Refounding of Phi Delta Theta
The fraternity dissolved in late 1998 and was refounded in the Spring of 1999. The current brotherhood of the New York Alpha is thriving, and its success revolves around the strong relationships among outstanding individuals. Our commitments to our friendships are undying. We are a true family here at Phi Delta Theta.
Since the fraternity was refounded we have initiated 193 brothers and are currently 31 active members strong.
Help Rebuild the History of New York Alpha
As mentioned in the Summer 2008 Cayugan, we are going to start trying to build this section of the website up, and it's going to take lots of help from visitors like yourself! Take this opportunity to recount your experiences of Phi Delt - we always hear such interesting stories during times like reunion and homecoming, lets make this page a place where we can capture how the character of our chapter has evolved over the decades. We'd also love it if you sent in copies of you're old Phi Delt photos. You can send them by either via email or snail-mail - whichever works best for you - to Mark Malin, 2 Ridgewood Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850, or to Victor Aprea, 341 Brooktondale Rd., Brooktondale, NY 14817. You can also submit your stories and other historic contributions in the form below.
