Recruitment at the New York Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Theta is both a time of growth and fun. The brotherhood sponsors events throughout the year in order for potentials to interact with the house and become acquainted with the brotherhood. Principles
Phi Delta Theta's strong brotherhood is based on our three cardinal principles: Friendship, Sound Learning, and Moral Rectitude. Building toward establishing these principles means inviting men into our brotherhood who are driven to utilize every ounce of potential they posses. Those invited to join our brotherhood are ambitious and dynamic. Membership is extended to those individuals who bring esteem, honor, and accomplishment.
Achievement
Each and every brother of the New York Alpha Chapter contributes to our beloved brotherhood in a unique way. Whether it is through enriching the fraternity with academic laurels or showing athletic rigor on the Varsity Track Field, brothers are among the most accomplished on campus. Recent Alumni include members of Cornell's prestigious honor society Quill and Dagger, Varsity Track record holders, current graduate students at Stanford University, Current Medical and Law students, and consultants at cutting edge financial firms. The current senior class includes members extended admissions to Harvard and Yale graduate schools, future associates at Goldman Sachs, and blue-chip chemical engineering consultants. Post graduate high achievement in the form of laudable professional positions and financial success are bred within the walls of Phi Delta Theta.
